are copies or synopses of actual patient letters or notes. I am grateful
to each of these people for the lessons they have taught me and for allowing me
to be a part of their healing process.
I was 46 when I was
diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer and underwent 2 major operations, a
mastectomy on Nov. 5, 2001 and then I had lymph nodes removed on Nov 19, 2001.
On Nov. 22, Dr. Gentile entered my room and introduced herself as my
osteopath. She sat and explained what she was doing step by step.
I continued to see her after I got out of the hospital.
Dr. Gentile would always talk to me first to find out how I was doing.
Sometimes I came to her office crying because I was in so much pain, but
I always felt better by the end of her treatments. Dr. Gentile helped to lessen the swelling in my arm and
chest. Now that she has left NY, I
can’t find another doctor like her. Dr.
Gentile is a good doctor who takes pride in her work. She is a caring person who gave me not only medical
attention, but hope and faith as well. Thank
you, Dr. Gentile, for everything that you have done for me.
Dr. Maria Gentile is a highly skilled
and compassionate doctor, whose care and treatment have helped me immensely with
some chronic neck and back alignment issues. I have been grateful for Dr.
Gentile's unique treatment method, which is gentle and effective, and has helped
my body to be more balanced. Additionally, I love Dr. Gentile's
willingness to truly listen to the patient and to incorporate what
the patient's expressed needs are into the treatment. What a rare find to
have a competent doctor. who incorporates her medical training with her
intuition! It is such a gift to her patients. I would highly
recommend Dr. Gentile as an osteopathic doctor.
